Héctor falcón
b. Sinaloa, Mexico, 1973.
Falcón has a prolific trajectory in which he has explored diverse topics along his career. He works with different media like painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation and even using his own body as support for his work. Hector combines different objects, shapes and patterns to create a visual language that is conceptual in its presentation and aesthetic simultaneously , Hector often reveals materials that are often hidden and gives his work a layered depth.
Hector studied Visual Arts at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving "La Esmeralda" in Mexico City and then moved to Kyoto (Japan) to study Art and Design. His work has been showcased worldwide in prestigious spaces such as the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Palais de Tokio in Paris and the Sapporo Modern Art Museum in Hokkaidō.
