Constructed Otherness is a group show that brings together works by 12 international artists from Latin America with a selection of works on paper exhibiting in London at 96 Chalton Street, from 10th – 20th October, 2015.

 

This exhibition is the first endeavour in London by PERIFERIA, a curatorial platform that is looking to create connections from emerging markets, mainly Latin America, to the UK and Europe. The focus is to develop projects and give artists, with an established international trajectory, visibility in new markets and to promote collaboration with new galleries, artists and institutions.

 

The exhibited artists are Amadeo Azar (Argentina), Rodrigo Torres, Pedro Varela (Brazil), Miler Lagos (Colombia), Daniel Alcalá, Omar Arcega, Marcos Castro, Mónica Espinosa, Héctor Falcón, Tania López Winkler, Quirarte + Ornelas (Mexico), José Vera Matos (Peru).
